Tired of frustrating AR measuring apps?
Phruler works like a real tape measure. It's that simple.
"Tapping and aiming at a corner... only to get it wrong. And they still can't measure a cone!"
Why can't they measure a cone's height? They have to aim at points they can see. This gives them the slant from the edge, but never the true height from the hidden center of the base.
Place your phone at the start of what you want to measure.
Press and hold, then move your phone to the end point.
Let go of the button for an instant, accurate measurement.
Phruler is built different. And by different, we mean better.
Worried about accuracy? Phruler can be more accurate than the built-in Measure app. Here's the science.
"Try measuring the true height of a cone with other apps. You can't. With my vertical lock, it's easy. No aiming-based app can do it."
"Messy room? Giant couch in the way? No problem. I measure true point-to-point distance, ignoring whatever is in between."
"Hard to aim at a hidden corner? Don't. Just move your phone to where it is. I'll measure it accurately, sight unseen."
Think you can eyeball a measurement? Challenge Mode turns estimation into a fun game.
Every measurement reveals a Fun Fact, comparing your result to something fascinating.

Download Phruler TodayOther apps make you aim with your camera. Phruler measures its own movement. You physically move your phone from start to finish. This "move-to-measure" method bypasses guesswork and is far more accurate, especially for tricky things like cones or measuring true height.
Use good lighting, move smoothly, and use our axis-locking modes (Horizontal/Vertical) for perfectly straight lines. For horizontal measurements, point the camera forward into the room, not down at the object.

Haha, yup, that's true! It was an art school project. That spirit of using the phone's sensors in unconventional ways is still at the heart of Phruler today!
